Lean Beef Wednesday...and some Texas upgrades to the Blog

So in honor of Sam and Bob's Lean Beef Wednesday, I've decided to continue on with the tradition. (For those of you that don't know, Sam and Bob host an Austin morning show on KVET that Ryan and I used to listen to). My lean beef is that Swiss people don't have common courtesy when it comes to moving out of the way! Today I am at the bank and the lady before me was handed several large stacks of bills and about 10 rolls of coins. There is only one teller in the bank. She proceeds to slowly and carefully place one stack after the other in to her purse, then each roll of coins. A turtle could have done it faster. So 10 minutes later she finally moves out of the way so I could proceed with my transaction. Then at the grocery store, I'd like to bag my groceries that I have just bought but this lady is standing in the way taking her sweet little time, clearly knowing I was waiting on her to gather up her belongings and move over! This is daily occurrence in my day. Perhaps I just need to stop whining and slow down a little bit and it would annoy me less! But this is Lean Beef Wednesday and so today I am allowed to complain!

We've added some nice upgrades to our website to reflect our Texas heritage and the Longhorn Spirit.....see if you can find them!

Congratulations Lee

Last Friday my cousin Lee took command of 563rd Rescue Group at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tuscon. This is a huge accomplishment and we are really proud!!! Lee is on the right.
